About Us

 

The Heroines of Jericho Degree is the oldest and most perfect of all the female degrees. It is a side degree conferred upon Holy Royal Arch Masons, their wives, and daughters. It is intended to instruct its female recipients to the highest and most noblest aims in life. The sacred creed set forth in adoptive masonry contain some of the most sublime sentiments known to humanity.

The prosperity and future welfare of united sisterhood and preservation of the sacred creed of the Holy Royal Arch mysteries.

 

 

 

Our Mission

 

Rosetta Hudgins Grand Court Heroines of Jericho, Tennessee Jurisdiction, Prince Hall Affiliation, is a mutual benefit non-profit organization which embodies a beautiful system of morality. The course was designed to instruct women on high and noble principles 'to appeal to the better instincts of the human mind'.

 

This organization, founded upon Christian principles established in the Holy Bible, strives to teach a person their duty owed to GOD, their neighbor, and to themselves; but interferes neither with religion nor politics as it prescribes the practice of virtues in the conduct of its business. Its foundation is Character, its purpose is Service and its measure is Giving. Its foundation is perpetuated by making "Good Men/Women Better." Its purpose is service, which is rendered to the people throughout this state to improve social, cultural, and economic conditions. Its measure is giving, an act of unselfish sacrifice for the benefit of others.
